OKLAHOMA CITY/EDMOND OKLAHOMA NEWBORN, CHILD AND FAMILY DOCUMENTARY PHOTOGRAPHER/TRASH TRUCK BIRTHDAY

Our little trash truck loving tot turned TWO…uh, nearly 6 months ago! Who knew we’d be throwing a trash bash for Emma? It all started with, well, trash! Trash was one of her first words after dada, mama, hi, bye, and ball. “Trash” quickly turned into trash truck with one video of a trash truck in action after dinner one night with her daddy. Since then, we’ve accumulated many toy trash trucks and do our best to get to the driveway early enough on Tuesdays to wave to the trash man. We even had a really cool opportunity to go visit the local trash trucks and see them up close at work. SHE.WAS.THRILLED!

Emma’s trash bash turned out perfectly, besides the whole pandemic thing. She was oblivious and it gave me a fun excuse to be extra crafty with her invitations.

Her love for trash trucks continues, along with excavators, cranes, dump trucks, bulldozers…the list goes on if it’s large, loud, or has wheels.

Her love for the Happy Birthday song? Maybe next year…

*special shout to my mom and sisters for helping me dominate ‘operation decorate during nap’!
